I have been looking at your EZ-Servo drives for a project of mine.
I have two parts of the project. 1. Turning a 100 kg.cm^2 inertial load through a 4.5:1 reduction pulley. 2. Turning a 3000 kg.cm^2 inertial load, possibly through direct drive In general, the torque of the available motors is sufficient to drive the inertial load through the movements I want. The rotor inertia matching is the issue. On the web-page http://www.fastech.co.kr/bbs/eng/product.php you talk about the lack of need for inertia matching. Is this truly the case for these EZ-Servo drives? I have read documents on the websites of some other closed-loop stepper controller vendors that a 100:1 inertia ratio can be achieved. What is your recommendation for inertia matching of EZ-Servo drives. |
